I didn't mean to cancel the sprint. Idea here is that if team get use to not delivering everything planned they will take it as normal and then this will start repeating.

Of course that if you deliver 98 of 100 stories the sprint is not failure, but if it happens sprint after sprint then I would consider that as a problem.janhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09450549833036134264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785059744103848185.post-83323971838933115442008-05-02T06:39:00.000+02:002008-05-02T06:39:00.000+02:00I really like your points and is good to read abou...I really like your points and is good to read about people implementing scrum 'cause we are doing it at my company. But I have some points:

"do not let sprint to finish with not all planned user stories implemented."

Totally disagree. Finish the sprint even if you hasn't all planned stories implemented. This is important because you keep the timebox concept. Dayle Scrums will make you you see that the team will not delivery all the planned stories and so you could talk with your PO about it.

"At the end of the sprint everything must be implemented otherwise sprint is failure."

The only failure is: you estimate bad. You don't know the team capacity. And, come on, if you plan 100 stories and delivery 98, could you call it failure?

Kind Regardsmarcospereirahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03461934177732907127noreply@blogger.com
